Roberto Pacelli achieved the Medical degree at the University of Naples Federico II in march 1988. Between september 1986 and june 1990 he frequented as medical student first and as resident after the Medical Oncology department of the University Federico II. From June 1990 and December 1991, with a fellowship for cancer research, he worked at the Radiation Oncology department of Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Napoli. In October 1991 achieved the board certification in Medical Oncology. From january 1992 through May 1996, as winner of a fellowship of the FogartyInternational Center, he worked at the Radiation Oncology and Biology Branch of the National Cancer Institue of the NIH, Bethesda, MD, USA. From June 1996 through December 1998, has been resident at the Radiation Oncology Department of the Second University of Naples. From 1999 he worked at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy of the University of Naples Federico II. In october 1999 accomplished his specialization in Radiology and Radiation Oncology. From January 2001 to November 2010 he has been researcher of the National Council of Research at the Institute of Biostructure and Bioimage and counseling specialist for Radiation Oncology at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy of the University Federico II of Naples. Since November 2010 he is Associate Professor at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy of the University Federico II of Naples
