Curriculum ▼

Raffaele Liuzzi received his master degree at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy, in 1993 and his PhD degree at the University of Sassari, Italy, and 1996 respectively. In 1995, he spent about 4 months as invited researcher scientist in the Chemistry Department of Keele University, England (UK). After three years (1997-1998) spent as post-doctoral fellow in Robertis group at the Medicine Faculty of the University of Naples Federico II, Italy, Liuzzi received the degree of Medical Physics Expert at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. Since 2001 he has been researcher at CNR (National Council of Research) at IBB (Bio-structures and Bio-images Institute). His research interests include the light interaction with biological tissue, developing of new radiotherapy plan treatment for oncologic patients, radiation dosimetry and medical statistics. He authored more than 45 papers on these topics and delivered about 10 invited lectures and colloquia.
