Curriculum ▼

Born in Napoli on 29th April 1971. July 1994: Degree in Biology cum laude. November 1994: a PhD fellowship in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. 1999 2000: Fellowship at the Department of Organic and Biological Chemistry of University Federico II-Napoli. January 2000: Researcher fellowship at the Department of Organic and Biological Chemistry at the University of Naples Federico II. December 2000 until now: Researcher of National Council of Research (CNR) at the Biostructure and Bioimaging Institute. Her research results are well documented by publication of many congress communications and numerous papers on international journals. She is the project leader of a project funded by regional institutions entitled Antioxidant systems in thermophilic microrganisms and their applications and she participates (or has participated) in several MIUR and in European Union funded projects. The field of prevailing interest is the study of the structure-activity relationships in different proteins and the understanding of their regulative mechanisms, gaining expertise in the main techniques in microbiology, biochemistry and molecular biology.
