To evaluate the tomographic features in differentiating benign from malignant splenic diseases, 54 patients with a cytohistological examination and a contrast-enhanced multidetector computed tomography (ce-MDCT) and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) were retrospectively selected.
