Protein-ProteinInteractions (PPIs) are at the basis of the cellular structure and function.Interaction partners represent precious leads into biological functions thatcan be exploited for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Identification andcharacterization of interaction parameters can lead to a better understandingof molecular mechanisms which can be useful also in the development of drugdesign. Similarly, DNA-protein interactions are vital processes which arefundamental to almost all biological mechanisms. The identification of themolecular determinants which drive these interactions are of fundamentalimportance to understand all the biological processes. By means of toolsspanning from molecular biology to biochemical, biophysical, bioinformatics andX-ray structural tools we investigate and characterize several interactionpatterns involved into physio/pathological events.
