Aim of this activity is to set-up and test a novel Partial Volume Effect Correction algorithm, recently developed and to integrate it in the PVELab software along with the last segmentation software. The main feature of this new algorithm is that it correct the PVE of an unlimited number of compartment, allowing the PVEC on e. g. basal ganglia separately. It also correct all the tissues voxel-wise, allowing, for instance, the verification of the wide adopted hypothesis of constant WM uptake. Critical is the quality of the segmentation and the number of tissues recognized.
