1990 Medical Degree from the University Federico II of Napoli, Italy with the maximum of score 110/110 Cum Laude, discussing a thesis entitled "Myocardial scintigraphy with Thallium-201 and Tc99m-MIBI in the evaluation of patients with coronary artery disease.
1994 Board certified in Nuclear Medicine at the University Federico II of Napoli, Italy with the maximum of score 50/50 Cum Laude, discussing a thesis entitled "Continuous ambulatory monitoring of left ventricular function in normal subjects during cardiopulmonary exercise.
1999 Board certified in Radiology at the University Federico II of Napoli, Italy with the maximum of score 50/50 Cum Laude, discussing a thesis entitled "Dual-phase spiral CT for detection and assessment of resectability of patients with suspicion of pancreatic cancer.

Clinical Activity:
In the past 10 years Dr. Imbriaco has read more than 22. 000 examinations including CT, MRI and PET-CT studies, working respectively with a 4 and 64 slices CT scanners (Hitachi, General Electric, Toshiba), with a 1. 5 Tesla (Philips, Intera) and a 3 Tesla (Siemens, Trio) MR scanner, and with a PET-CT scanner (General Electric). In addition, Dr. Imbriaco has large experience in general radiologic procedures (chest x-ray, double contrast barium-enemas, small bowel enteroclysis, urography and general pediatric radiology).
Research and Teaching:
1992 Clinical Fellow at the "Universite' Catholique de Louvain" in Bruxelles, Belgium in the "Service de Medicine Nucleaire" under the direction of Prof. C. Beckers.
1994-1996 Research fellow from May 1994 through July 1996 in the Department of Radiology (Service of Nuclear Medicine) at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York (NY) USA, under the direction of Prof. Steven M. Larson.
1994-1998 Referee of the Journal of Nuclear Medicine.
1999-2012 Research fellow in the Department of Radiology at New York University Medical Center, under direction of Prof. Emil J Balthazar.
2000-2012 Referee of the American Journal of Roentgenology, Emergency Radiology, Cancer Research, Radiology, Emergency Radiology, Mol Genetics and Therapy.
2000-2012 During these years Dr. Imbriaco has been strongly involved into all activities directly related to the delivery of the curriculum and to student support, in the Radiology Department of the University Federico II of Napoli, Italy. Furthermore, Dr. Imbriaco has organized several congresses, courses and workshops that relate to radiology and nuclear medicine topics and has been invited as a lecturer to 43 national and international congresses and participated presenting his works to 110 radiology and nuclear medicine meetings.
PRIZES
1. 1994 Winner of the fellowship of the Association Leonardo Di Capua.
2. 2001-2002 Winner of the first place, as best presentation, of the Prize Ziviello, at the Oncologic Institute Pascale of Napoli, Italy.
3. 2007. Winner of the first place at the 8th Round Table on Fabry disease.
