Annamaria Sandomenico was born on 06/11/1978 in Monza, Italy.
In 2004, she graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies at the University of Naples "Federico II", Italy.
From 2004 to 2005, she worked at TECNOGEN S.C.p.a. (Sigma-Tau) in Caserta, Italy.
From 2005 to 2008, she attended to the Master “STRUIM, training of professional profiles in the field of Biostructures and Bioimaging" at Institute of Biostructures and Bioimaging (IBB) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR), Naples, Italy.
In 2008, she obtained PhD in Biotechnology Sciences at the University "Federico II", Naples, Italy.
From 2009-2018, she worked as temporary researcher fellow in the research group of Dr. Menotti Ruvo at IBB-CNR, Naples, Italy.
In 2011, she worked as a visiting researcher in the group of Prof. Guido Franzoso at the Section of the Division of Immunology and Inflammation Imperial College London, Faculty of Medicine, London (UK)
Since 2018, she is a permanent researcher at the Institute of Biostructures and Bioimagining-CNR , Naples, Italy.
The research activities of Dr. Sandomenico are focused on the identification and development of bioactive molecules including peptides, monoclonal antibodies and new engineered recombinant formats (Fab, scFv and related ADCs, humanized antibodies) against targets of diagnostic and therapeutic interest.
